The Széchenyi Capital Investment Fund (SZTA), a venture capital fund established by the state to support SMEs, has invested HUF 160 million in fashion design company Konsanszky, the namesake of co-founder Dora Konsanszky, SZTA CEO Imre V. Csuhaj said yesterday.

SZTA wishes to support the international expansion of Konsanszky with the investment, Csuhaj said.

The company will use the funds to organize a professional team, which they can later build on to expand into foreign markets such as France, the Netherlands, Scandinavia and China, Konsanszky managing director and co-founder Agnes Tus-Dzsurban said.

Konsanszky is targeting revenue of HUF 10 mln this year, and expects turnover to reach HUF 90-120 mln by 2018.
