Strabag-MML to modernize sewage treatment plant in SE Hungary
Strabag-MML Kft will modernize and expand the sewage treatment plant in Makó (SE Hungary) at a cost of HUF 1.37bn, the development is part of a HUF 14bn regional environmental investment, Mayor Péter Buzás told MTI on Wednesday.
European Union funding will cover more than HUF 82% of the costs of the HUF 14bn development, which will serve more than 14,300 households in six communities.
The construction work will begin in the spring of 2012 and is scheduled to be completed in 36 months. The sewage treatment plant is expected to be completed in autumn 2014 following a 12-months test operation.
