Still no decision on HUF 100 bln Alpiq Csepel power plant expansion
Although Swiss-owned Alpiq Csepel has acquired all of the permits necessary for a HUF 100 billion capacity expansion at its power plant in Budapest, a decision on the investment has not yet been taken, business daily Világgazdaság said on Friday. Gábor Briglovics, who heads the project company, told the paper that the development phase of the investment has wound up. The additional capacity could go online 33-35 months after a decision on the investment is taken. About a year ago, Briglovics told MTI a decision on the expansion could be taken early in 2013.
