Signal Biztositó premium income climbs 8% in Q1-Q3

Hungarian insurer Signal Biztosito’s revenue from premiums rose 8% to HUF 9.7 billion in Q1-Q3 from the same period a year earlier, chairman-CEO Tamas Kalozdi told journalists on Monday.

Signal has 1.6% market share at present, but it sees growth potential in offering complete insurance packages to SMEs and winning clients in the upper-middle class, Mr Kalozdi said.

Signal’s revenue from premiums on mandatory as well as voluntary vehicle insurance policies rose 25% this year, he added.

Signal plans double-digit growth in its strategy till 2015, Mr Kalozdi said.
