Rondo invests HUF 350mln in automation at Budapest base

Austrian-owned cardboard maker Rondo Hullámkartongyártó is investing HUF 350 mln on automation in its Budapest factory, the company told Hungarian news agency MTI today.

The company produces daily 700-800 pallets of corrugated cardboard products in its Budapest unit where it employs 190 workers.

In 2013 and 2012 Rondo Hullámkartongyártó’s annual revenue reached HUF 11.2 bln. The company spent more than HUF 10 bln on developments in Hungary over the past 20 years.
