Respirator develops vehicles in HUF 500 mln project

Hungaryʼs Respirator Vegyivédelmi es Tűzvédelmi developed two multi-purpose vehicles with an investment of approximately HUF 500 mln, which included a HUF 222 mln EU and state grant, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.

The firm produced two vehicles that meet NATO requirements: one for transporting the sick or wounded in areas hit by catastrophes or war zones, and another for transporting people on base.

Respirator, which recently merged with peer Gamma Műszaki, had revenue of HUF 776 mln last year, according to public records.
