Report: Investment fund assets edge up to HUF 5.532 trillion

Assets in investment funds managed by members of the Association of Hungarian Investment Fund and Asset Management Companies (BAMOSZ) increased by HUF 60 bln to HUF 5.5 trillion in January, BAMOSZ reported today.
Due to climbing net sales of units and yield, assets in bond funds grew by 4% reaching HUF 1.293 trillion, while assets in mixed funds increased by 7.5% to HUF 659 bln. Net sales of units came to more than HUF 22 bln for the month.
BAMOSZ said that money market fund assets fell approximately 2% to HUF 1.445 trillion, while net sales of units reached HUF 26 bln. Assets in absolute yield funds dropped by 5% to HUF 688 bln on net sales and negative yields, while share funds' assets rose by 5% to HUF 247 bln and property fund assets were little changed at HUF 477 bln.
