Private pension fund yields up in 2014
Most private pension funds outperformed fixed-income assets in 2014, a study published on Sunday by azenpenzem.hu revealed.
While most funds had more than 9% yield during the period, the highest performing fund managed by Budapest Nyugdíjpénztár yielded 11.46%. According to the Hungarian National Bank (MNB), about only 62,000 members benefited from the increase when the total assets managed by private pension fund managers reached HUF 193 bln at the beginning of the year.
