Porsche Hungária plans to sell 25,000 cars domestically in 2015
Porsche Hungária expects to sell 24,000-25,000 cars in Hungary next year after selling 23,000 this year, managing director János Eppel said at a press conference on Tuesday. New car traders anticipate that the entire market of new cars and light commercial vehicle will reach about 105,000 in 2015 after rising more than 20% to exceed 93,000 this year, he said.
Porsche Hungária expects sales revenue of HUF 260 bln-270 bln this year. Its spare parts base at Budaörs, in the outskirts of Budapest sold spare parts worth €100 mln, one third of which was sold in Hungary and the remainder to countries in the region. Eppel said that the growth appears to be sustained and "rather robust", noting that the Hungarian car market contracted 70% after the crisis. The network of distributors also shrank by 30%, he said, and consists of 81 legal entities, with 150 trader's and 175 service contracts at present.
