Poliol PET Packing invests HUF 365 mln in its plant

Hungary’s bottle manufacturer Poliol PET Packing spent HUF 365 mln at its plant in Lakitelek, southeastern Hungary, to purchase new machinery and improve its IT systems, Executive Manager Béla Szabó said yesterday.
The company was awarded a HUF 180 mln European Union and state grant for the investment. As a result, the company expects production volume to rise, as well as sales revenue and the market share of the company.
Last year the firm employed 58 people and generated a net revenue of HUF 582 mln and an operating profit of HUF 23 mln. The key partners of the plant are Szentkirályi Ásványvíz and Maspex Olympos Üdítőgyártó.
