Parliament approves main figures for 2012 budget

Hungary’s Parliament on Tuesday approved an amendment to the main figures of the 2012 budget.

The approved bill puts fiscal revenue at HUF 14,323.6bn and expenditures at HUF 14,899.8bn, creating a deficit of HUF 576.1bn.

The pension fund is set to break even with revenue and expenditures of HUF 2,749.6bn. The health insurance fund is seen generating revenue of HUF 1,700.1bn and having expenditures of HUF 1,735.4bn, giving the fund a deficit of HUF 35.3bn.
