Parliament approves 2015 budget

The Hungarian Parliament finalized the main revenue and expenditure figures for 2015 budget, and approved the figures with 116 voting in favor and 40 voting against with 20 abstentions.
The 2015 budget bill now shows revenue of HUF 16,312.9 bln and expenditures of HUF 17,190.3 bln, with a deficit of HUF 877.4 bln.
The revenue and expenditure figures are both lower, by HUF 67.7 bln and HUF 67.9 bln, respectively, compared to the original bill.
Hungary’s governing party Fidesz has a two third majority, with 116 MPs, allowing the party to pass laws with every other parties voting against or staying in abstention.
