The older someone is, the more likely they are to sit in front of the TV every day, according to LG Hungary's national representative research, writes profitline.hu.
Among young adults, Internet content is most commonly consumed on a TV screen, and they fall asleep most often at night before the device is turned off.
According to the results of the survey, the youngest age group spends the most time on background television, and energy-efficient television use is clearly not a consideration at home.
According to the latest report from the Central Statistical Office, there were an average of 137 CTVs per 100 households in 2010, and by 10 years their number had risen to just 160 by 2020.
In terms of the distribution of device types, however, there has been a noticeable change: modern devices (such as LEDs, LCDs, and laser TVs) have almost completely pushed traditional devices out of households in 10 years.
