Hungaryʼs voluntary pension fund membership edged down about 2% to 1,150,000 last year, according to the latest data on the sector published by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) today.

Membership has been on a steady decline since around 2008, when it peaked at just over 1,400,000.

In spite of the fall in membership last year, the fundsʼ revenue from membership fees increased 4% to HUF 101 billion.

We would like to offer that same opportunity to our readers. We would like to invite you to help us deliver the quality business journalism you require. Hit our Support the BBJ button and you can choose the how much and how often you send us your contributions.
