MNB FX swap stock to rise after tender

The stock of fine-tuning FX swaps of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) will rise to around HUF 1,899 billion following the latest tender Tuesday, data released by the central bank show.
The MNB allotted just under HUF 75 bln of one-month swaps and almost HUF 75 bln of 12-month swaps against euros at the tender, state news wire MTI reported.
As HUF 10 bln of one-month swaps and HUF 50 bln of 12-month swaps are maturing on May 23, the value date of the tender, the total swap stock will increase by some HUF 89 bln.
The tender will bring the composition of the stock to HUF 184 bln of one-month, HUF 174 bln of three-month, HUF 50 bln of six-month, and HUF 1,491 bln of 12-month swaps.
