MetaloBox building HUF 713m production hall, business incubator
Hungarian locker maker MetaloBox is building a HUF 713m production hall and business incubator in Szekesfehervar (NW Hungary) that it hopes to rent out to small businesses, sales director Vera Kovacs said at a press conference on Friday.
The 6,000sqm production hall and 2,000sqm incubator are expected to be completed by September 2012, Ms Kovacs said.
MetaloBox won a HUF 200m European Union grant for the HUF 513m production hall and a HUF 130m grant for the HUF 200m incubator. The production hall will have space for 13 small businesses while the incubator can host six.
MetaloBox had profit of HUF 265m on revenue of HUF 1.78bn in 2010. The company has units in Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
