Magyar Telekom Macedonian unit to pay HUF 28 bln in dividends
Magyar Telekom's 100%-owned Macedonian unit, Makedonski Telekom (MakTel), decided to pay 5.6 billion denars in dividends on 2012 profit at its Friday annual general meeting, Magyar Telekom announced on Friday. The dividend is worth about HUF 28 billion at current exchange rates. Of the dividend, 3.2 billion denars is due toStonebridge Communications AD Skopje, a fully owned Magyar Telekom unit, which is being wound up. Stonebridge Communications holds 51.0% of Maktel shares, the Macedonian government owns 34.8% and World Bank unit IFC holds 1.88%. Magyar Telekom is an A-category issuer at the Budapest Stock Exchange.
