Farm machinery and bus manufacturer Kühne, based in Mosonmagyaróvár, western Hungary, is to show two new in-house developed and manufactured farm machinery products at next weekʼs Agromash Expo in Budapest, CEO Csaba Süli told Hungarian news agency MTI.
Kühneʼs seedbed cultivator has won the farm machinery exhibitionʼs domestic product design award, he added.
Kühne had profit of HUF 370 million last year. Domestic sales revenue was HUF 2.5 billion in 2014. Exports sales, however, were low. Results improved slightly in 2015, Süli said.
The CEO said Kühne wants to double the sales of its farm machinery by 2020.
Kühne and Kravtex Kereskedelmi have since 1999 jointly manufactured Credo buses, which account for 40% of Kühneʼs revenue.
Süli noted that a HUF 500 mln expansion of its bus manufacturing unit is expected to be completed in one month, adding that the two companies plan to invest hundreds of millions of forints in 2016.
Kühne, which celebrates its 160th anniversary this year, employs approximately 300 people.
