KSH: Gross wages up by 1.1% in November

The average gross wage in Hungary rose by a year-on-year 1.1% to a monthly HUF 251,283 in November, while net earnings rose at the same pace to a monthly HUF 164,590, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) reported today.
Since January, wage growth slowed to the slowest pace, chiefly due to a big drop in bonus payments which were timed for October last year instead of November of the previous year.
The average gross wage climbed by a year-on-year 1.0% to a monthly HUF 263,276, and net wages rose at the same clip to a monthly HUF 172,446, excluding the 145,500 Hungarians in fostered work programs.
