Kelet-Trans 2000 completes HUF 416 mln investment

Transportation and packaging company Kelet-Trans 2000 has completed a HUF 416 mln technology and infrastructure investment at its base in Záhony, eastern Hungary, the company said yesterday.
The company won a HUF 208 mln European Union grant for the project. Kelet-Trans improved its railway access and outdoor lighting, and paved the loading area at the base. The company also bought vehicles, a telephone center and a water purification system.
Kelet-Trans employs 100 people at five locations in Hungary. The company had HUF 4 bln of revenue in 2014. Retained earnings came to HUF 88 mln after the payout of a HUF 20 mln dividend.
