Hungary to spend HUF 68 bln on road renovation this year

The Hungarian government is planning to spend approximately HUF 68bn on road renovation in the country this year, state secretary for transport László Tasó said on state-owned news channel M1 yesterday.
Some HUF 50 bln of the funding is expected to be spent on renovating primary, secondary and tertiary roads, Tasó said, adding that the plans have been finalised and work will start within a few weeks. The renovations will affect more than 500km of roads in all of Hungaryʼs counties, the state secretary added.
