Hungary to spend HUF 600m on wine marketing this year
Hungarian winemakers can apply for about HUF 600m in funding for marketing this year, Agrarmarketing Centrum (AMC) director Peter Simon said at a conference of vintners on Thursday.
Mr Simon said a sales-based contribution toward the funding by winemakers was being phased out this year and support would come from "general tax revenues".
Funding will be allocated separately for marketing Hungarian wines abroad, he said.
