Hungary’s wine exports generate €85 mln revenue

Hungary exported approximately 770,000 hectoliters of wine last year out of the 2.7 million it produced, György Czerván the farm ministryʼs state secretary said at a conference in Badacsony, a wine region on Lake Balaton, on Saturday.

According to Czerván, exports generated approximately €85 mln in revenue, with Germany being the biggest market for Hungarian vintners, having purchased 150,000 hectoliters.
