Hungary始s leasing market grows 22% in Q2

The value of leases in Hungary rose 22.1% to HUF 226 bln in the second quarter as compared to a year earlier, the Hungarian Leasing Association said yesterday.
The value of production equipment leases was up 24.2% at HUF 123 bln. The number of new contracts was 37,300, up 10% from the same period a year earlier. From the HUF 226 bln leasing total, car financing accounted for HUF 62.5 bln, fleet financing amounted to HUF 40 bln, financing of trucks and buses HUF 63.8 bln and machinery financing HUF 58.5 bln.
