Hungarian leasing outlays reach HUF 360 bln in Q1-Q3

Hungaryʼs leasing companies provided clients with financing of HUF 360 bln in Q1-Q3, up 19% from the corresponding period of 2015, the Hungarian Leasing Association said last Friday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Clients signed contracts for about HUF 88 bln, or 25% of the total, availing themselves of financing from the Funding for Growth Scheme (FGS) of the National Bank of Hungary (MNB).

Magyar Eximbank funded HUF 10 bln of the outlays.

Outlays for production equipment, commercial vehicles and farm machinery rose 15% to HUF 200 bln.
