Hungarian company develops product ID technology

Hungary's Vasbeta, based in Miskolc in northeastern Hungary, presented a product identification technology it has developed in Budapest yesterday.

Vasbeta developed the technology with the cooperation of Eötvös Loránd University's Mathematics Institute and Russian partners.

The project, to wind up by the end of this year, is supported by more than HUF 500 mln in European Union funding. Serial production of the technology could create more than 100 jobs in Miskolc.
