Hungaryʼs government has so far placed about HUF 9 billion in grants and credit with businesses within the framework of an economic development program in Vojvodina, a region in the north of Serbia with a large ethnic Hungarian population.

On Wednesday, Levente Magyar, minister of state for economic diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, offered an update on the support, part of a three-year HUF 60 bln program launched in 2016, signing contracts with local businesses in Subotica. The six signatories will complete more than HUF 10 bln of farm investments, he noted.
