HUF 3.4 bln in parking fees paid via mobile
According to Hungarian the state-owned National Mobile Payment Company, parking fees generated a revenue of HUF 3.4 bln in the first six months following the introduction of a national mobile parking payment system.
The company said that drivers used their mobiles for paying in 7.8 million instances, while sales of motorway vignettes and tolls for commercial vehicles generated a revenue of HUF 3.15 bln during the period.
