Hotel investments relaunched in Siófok
Hungarian investors Könyvelőház and Rebamey Holding resumed two hotel investments yesterday, which were interrupted years earlier in Siófok, near Lake Balaton, Hungarian news agency MTI said.
Könyvelőház laid the cornerstone of the HUF 1.4 bln Siófok Medihotel, near the cityʼs marina. The 70-room hotel project is being realized with a HUF 1 bln European Union and state grant, said managing director Kornél Waller. The hotel is expected to open in August, he added.
Meanwhile, Rebamey Holding launched construction of the 62-bed Amancsics Medihotel. The project, which was initiated years ago by a Dutch investor, is being realized with a grant of approximately HUF 500 mln.
