Groupama Garancia premiums revenue reached HUF 94 bln last year

French-owned Hungarian insurer Groupama Garancia Biztositó saw its revenue rise by 5% to HUF 94 bln due to premiums, raising the rank of the company to third in the market, Groupama announced today.

The company said that revenue from premiums on general insurance policies increased by 4.4% to HUF 45.8 bln, home insurance policies generated premiums that were up by 2% to HUF 18 bln, and revenue growth from premiums on vehicle insurance policies was in the double digits.

Premiums in the life insurance segment were up almost 6% at HUF 48.8 bln.
