Government deficit reaches 35% of full-year target in Jan-Feb
Hungary's cashflow-based general government balance, excluding local councils, came to HUF 310.7 bln in the first two months, the National Economy Ministry said in a first reading of data yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
The two-month deficit was 35.4% of the full-year target of HUF 877.4 bln, MTI calculated. The ministry noted that the deficit is front-loaded, as usual, with expenditures exceeding revenue in the first half of the year.
