Gov’t allocates nearly HUF 8 bln for reconstruction of castle district

The government will allocate HUF 7.9 bln until the end of next year, for the refurbishment of Budapest's Castle District, state secretary László L. Simon said yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI. 

The project includes the construction of a HUF 1.5 bln 300-space underground parking lot, the renovation of stables valued at HUF 2 bln and the Fisherman’s Bastion buildings and stairway leading to the castle for HUF 3.5 bln, Simon said.
