ELMŰ, ÉMÁSZ shareholders approve HUF 1,200-, HUF 1,100 per share dividends

Shareholders of regional electricity distributors ELMŰ and ÉMÁSZ, both majority-owned by Germanyʼs RWE-EnBW, approved payment of HUF 1,200- and HUF 1,100-per-share dividends, respectively, at an annual general meeting yesterday, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

ELMŰ shareholders voted to pay a HUF 7.3 billion dividend, topping up after-tax profits with HUF 5.0 bln from profit reserves. 

ÉMÁSZ shareholders approved payment of a HUF 3.4 bln dividend from after-tax profit of HUF 5.0 bln. 

Last year, ELMŰ and ÉMÁSZ shareholders voted to pay HUF 1,200- and HUF 900-per-share dividends on 2014 earnings.
