E.ON to spend over HUF 4.5 bln on maintenance, investments
German-owned electricity and gas provider E.ON said yesterday it will spend more than HUF 4.5 billion on infrastructure maintenance and investments in North Transdanubia and South Transdanubia this year, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Lajos Gelencsér, CEO of the companyʼs regional unit in South Transdanubia said they will spend nearly HUF 700 million reconstructing and developing their electricity network and a further HUF 360 mln on the same projects for their gas network in the area in 2016.
Ferenc Csulak, CEO of the regional unit in North Transdanubia announced that the company would spend HUF 3.5 bln to expand their electricity network, establish new substations and perform maintenance work in northwestern Hungary.
