Dombegyházi Agrár completes HUF 1.3bn hog farm upgrade

Agribusiness Dombegyházi Agrár on Thursday inaugurated two hog farms renovated at a cost of HUF 1.3bn.
Dombegyházi Agrár launched the investment, supported with a HUF 695m grant, in 2008, said CEO Ferenc Isztin. The investment is expected to boost revenue next year over the HUF 3bn expected in 2011, he added.
Last year, Dombegyházi Agrár had revenue of HUF 2.5bn.
The company expects to turn out more than 28,000 hogs a year from 2012.
Dombegyházi Agrár is majority owned by its employees. The company has 150 workers.
