Daily bourse share turnover falls 19% in June

Daily share turnover on the Budapest Stock Exchange came to HUF 7.8 mln in June, 19% down from the previous month, the bourse said today.

Spot market turnover came to more than HUF 180 bln for the month, including HUF 172 bln in turnover of shares.

About 857,000 contracts with a combined value of HUF 277 bln were traded on the derivatives market, up about 47% from May.

The broker with the best shares business last month was Concorde Securities, generating turnover of HUF 71.5 bln. Erste Befektetési was runner-up, accounting for 16% of turnover, followed by WOOD and Company with market share of 14.5%.
