Cserpes invests HUF 40 mln in Budapest
Hungarian dairy producer Cserpes has announced it will open three new outlets in Budapest selling sandwiches and bakery products as well as dairy products, through an investment of HUF 40 million, founder István Cserpes told Hungarian news agency MTI today.
The three new outlets come in addition to four existing "milk bars" in the capital, as well as 22 stalls in marketplaces and 50 vehicles delivering products in the countryside, MTI reported.
Cserpes currently employs a total of 350 people, half of them working in Kapuvár, northwest Hungary, where the company is based. Last year it posted HUF 4.2 billion in revenues, but expects revenue to fall this year, according to MTI.
