Competition Office fines six companies HUF 148 mln for cartel activity

Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) on Wednesday said it had fined six companies a combined HUF 148 mln for cartel activity.

GVH fined Eter-1 HUF 16.6 mln, Eurolares HUF 14.4 mln, RVI HUF 9.8 mln, Qualiko HUF 600,000, Schneider HUF 30.6 mln and Aquaplus HUF 76.4 mln.

Among the instances of collusion GVH cited, there were examples involving a primary school and preschool, the National Police Headquarters, and police headquarters in five other counties.
