CFO: MTelʼs HUF 15-per-share dividend appears tenable

A HUF 15-per-share dividend, which Magyar Telekom indicated earlier could be paid on 2015 earnings, appears tenable, CFO János Szabó said at a press conference today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
In the spring, MTel shareholders voted to place all of last yearʼs earnings into profit reserves.
Magyar Telekom could reach the top range of its targets for the year, Szabó said.
The telco revised its guidance for revenue this year in the Q2 report to "roughly stable" from a "0-3% increase" earlier. It stood by its projection for a 0-3% decline in EBITDA.
The company’s earnings report was published yesterday.
