Cerlux puts new capacity online
Industrial ceramics maker Cerlux, based in Orosháza (SE Hungary), on Thursday put new capacity online that will boost its output by more than 35%, managing director Gábor Frankó told MTI.
The company's output of ceramic units for lighting fixtures is expected to rise to an annual 5 million in 2012 from 4 million in 2011, Frankó said. About 85% of these products are exported, he added.
In Hungary, Cerlux is a supplier to GE and Lighttech.
Cerlux had after-tax profit of HUF 150 million on revenue of HUF 720 million in 2011.
This year, the company targets revenue of HUF 800 million, Frankó said.
Cerlux has raised headcount from 100 to 145 on growing orders over the past two years, he added.
