BUX rises 0.26% on gains from OTP, MTelekom and MOL

The Budapest Stock Exchange's blue-chip BUX index closed Wednesday trade up 0.26% to 18,775.53 as three of four bluechips registered gains.

The BUX advanced 47.85 points on a below-average composite exchange turnover of HUF 4.6 bln. The BUX fluctuated between an intra-session low of 18,720.75 shortly after the start of trade and an intra-session high of 18,807.70 at around 4 p.m.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at the end of Wednesday trade:

OTP gained 0.11% to HUF 4,435 on an exchange-high turnover of HUF 2.47 bln;

Oil and gas company MOL advanced 0.40% to HUF 12,495 on turnover of HUF 1.29 bln;

Magyar Telekom rose 1.34% to HUF 379 on a turnover of HUF 559 mln;

Drug company Richter lost 0.29% to HUF 4,085 on a turnover of HUF 217 mln.

The BSE Big Four generated just less than 99% of the exchange's composite Tuesday turnover.
