The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Monday trade up 1.21% at 16,486.08.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Monday’s opening bell:

OTP Bank was up 2.12% at HUF 3,221;

Oil and gas company MOL was up 1.27% at HUF 16,000;

Magyar Telekom was up 0.77% at HUF 523;

Drug company Richter was up 0.65% at HUF 32,410.

On Friday, the BUX closed down 2.52% to 16,289.14 on a turnover of HUF 12.2bn.
