BUX opens up 0.7%

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Wednesday trade up 0.68% at 17,769.60.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Wednesday’s opening bell:

Oil and gas company MOL was up 1.22% at HUF 18,240;

Magyar Telekom was up 0.78% at HUF 517;

OTP Bank was up 0.41% at HUF 3,450;

Drug company Richter was up 0.28% at HUF 35,890.

On Tuesday, the BUX closed up 0.75% to 17,650.43 on a turnover of HUF 12.37bn.
