BUX opens up 0.6%

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Tuesday trade up 0.64% at 16,594.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Tuesday’s opening bell:

Oil and gas company MOL was up 1.20% at HUF 16,000;

Drug company Richter was up 1.14% at HUF 35,400;

Magyar Telekom was up 0.39% at HUF 510;

OTP Bank was down 0.03% at HUF 3,169.

On Monday, the BUX closed down 1.75% to 16,489.31 on a turnover of HUF 45.67bn, fourth-fifths of which stemmed from technical cross-trades between an investment fund and the Government Debt Management Agency.
