BUX opens up 0.5%

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Wednesday trade up 0.48% at 18,939.55.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Wednesday’s opening bell:

OTP Bank was up 1.31% at HUF 3,950;

Magyar Telekom was up 0.36% at HUF 552;

Oil and gas company MOL was up 0.08% at HUF 19,160;

Drug company Richter was up 0.03% at HUF 36,210.

On Tuesday, the BUX closed down 0.89% to 18,849.68 on a turnover of HUF 16.26bn.
