The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Thursday trade up 0.42% at 16,845.12.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Thursday’s opening bell:

OTP Bank was up 1.69% at HUF 3,015;

Oil and gas company MOL was up 0.06% at HUF 17,900;

Drug company Richter was unchanged at HUF 34,000;

Magyar Telekom was down 0.19% at HUF 515.

On Wednesday, the BUX lost 0.89% to 16,774.82 on a turnover of HUF 9.6bn.
