BUX opens up 0.4%

The Budapest Stock Exchange's main BUX index opened up 0.37% at 17,168.80 on Friday.
OTP Bank rose 1.35% to HUF 3,380, oil and gas company MOL opened up 0.45% at HUF 16,805, drug maker Richter opened unchanged at HUF 35,100 and Magyar Telekom gained 0.20% to HUF 510.
As the weekend's EU summit is not expected to bring about a definitive solution to the euro zone crisis, uncertainty could increase on markets, analysts interviewed by MTI said Friday morning.
The BUX closed down 2.04% at 17,105.39 on Thursday, on turnover of HUF 7.8bn.
