BUX opens up 0.1%

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Friday trade up 0.12% at 18,522.10.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Friday’s opening bell:

Drug company Richter was up 0.41% at HUF 36,700;

Oil and gas company MOL was up 0.37% at HUF 18,820;

Magyar Telekom was unchanged at HUF 546;

OTP Bank was down 0.24% at HUF 3,740.

On Thursday, the BUX closed up 1.93% to a five-month closing high of 18,500.01 on a brisk turnover of HUF 29.32bn.
