BUX opens higher on cue of US, Asian markets

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s main BUX index opened on Friday up 1.23% at 16,905.62, rising after US and Asian markets made gains overnight.

OTP Bank started trade at HUF 3,310, up 1.85% from the previous close. Oil and gas company MOL climbed 2.12% to HUF 16,145.

Drugmaker Richter edged up 0.30% to HUF 35,405, but Magyar Telekom slipped 0.19% to HUF 518.
