BUX opens down 1.75%

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Thursday trade down 1.75% at 17,296.11.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Thursday’s opening bell:

OTP Bank was down 2.98% at HUF 3,255;

Drug company Richter was down 1.63% at HUF 35,500;

Oil and gas company MOL was down 1.36% at HUF 17,755;

Magyar Telekom was down 1.15% at HUF 515.

On Wednesday, the BUX down 0.27% to 17,603.35 on a turnover of HUF 13.57bn.
